“Leu” Cafeteria a.k.a “Cavity”/”Groapa”

Students know it as “Groapa”. The smell of food is everywhere. When the cafeteria is full, it can hold around 100 people. Usually, you can find five or six different warm dishes such as soup, borsch, mashed potatoes, rice, chicken, maize porridge, stew or goulash. The menu changes but there is always soup and some basic hot dishes. For dessert, you can choose from two or three types of cakes, as well as crackers, croissants and chocolates. Soup and a main course with a drink will cost around 15 RON.
One disadvantage of eating here is that the only source of fresh air is the door, which employees always leave open, even in winter. Although the bricks and stone interior is pleasant, it looks like it hasn’t been renovated in many years. The air conditioners don’t work. In one place where a window has been broken, someone has tried to cover the hole with a plate. Avoid the toilets if you can. Most don’t work properly and women and men have to share the same facility.
