The spring cleaning needs volunteers

The second edition of „The Spring Cleaning Campaign” will takes place Saturday, March the 24th, from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m.. This is an initiative of the student organization Team Work, in collaboration with the „Dimitrie Brândză” Botanical Garden.

More than 200 college students and school pupils from Bucharest will pick up the garbage and strive to make the botanical garden more attractive. The aim is to create a positive and ecological image of the garden.

“The Spring Cleaning Campaign” is aimed at all the citizens concerned by the environment. Volunteers can apply on-line (March 15^th – 22^nd), on the Team Work’s website (http://www.teamwork.org.ro/).
A DJ will entertain the participants. At the end of the program, the volunteers will receive certificates of  participation and an entrance pass for a month for the Botanical Garden.

The event will be followed by the „ Autumn Cleaning Campaign”. Both events, and also „The Cultural garden” and „The Garden of the Child” are part of a bigger project of TeamWork, called „The Botanical Garden – The Garden of Bucharest”.
